Maintenance Team Leader

£35,000 + Benefits
DAYS Shift - Monday to Friday 07:00 to 15:00
Maintenance Team Leader required for a well established manufacturer who operate across a number of sites in the UK. They specialise in a range of products and supply to a range of industries. They offer a stable role working on a wide range of equipment.
The role would suit maintenance team leaders, engineering supervisors or senior engineers with an electrical bias. Ideally applicants will be multi-skilled maintenance engineers with experience within a manufacturing/fast paced environment. Applicants must have previous people management skills and a proven track record of leading a team.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and working alongside a small team of maintenance engineers. You will prioritise jobs for the engineers which will include reactive maintenance, pre-planned maintenance and also continuous improvement projects when required. There will be a mixture of both mechanical and electrical work required. You will manage contractors on site and be a champion for H&S on site.

*Managing a small team of engineers
*Hands on maintenance activities
*Involvement with and overseeing project work and facilities maintenance when required
*Managing contractors on site
*Training and development of the team
*DAYS Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours
The Person
*Will ideally be a Maintenance Team Leader/Maintenance Supervisor or Senior Engineer
*Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer/Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer
*Will ideally transfer from a manufacturing background
*Applicants who have experience fault finding on PLCs will have a considerable advantage
