Shipping Clerk

Working with this Global Integrated Logistics company who specialise in freight forwarding, contract logistics and specialised services backed by industry-leading technology we are now looking to appoint an Export Shipping Clerk to bolster their team.

Your Role:

Entering customs imports for clearance when arrived in the UK.
Monitoring arrivals
Communication with customers
Obtaining competitive rates where possible
Keeping databases up to date
Deep Sell on customers
Costing filesAttributes:

DG experience
Letter of credit experience
Experience of producing export shipping documentation
Speed
Accuracy
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work in a customer's premises among the customer's workforce
Diplomatic, Methodical, multi-tasking, working to tight deadlines
Tolerant
Computer skills essential
Can work independently but also as part of a team

Salary subject to experience
Hours 9-5 Mon - Thurs, 9-4 Friday (with hours lunch)
