Adecco have an exciting new opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative with a large, global company, offering immediate starts!
Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: Congleton - CW12 1PH
Duration: Until 23/05/2022
Pay rate: £11.07p/h
Shift pattern:
EITHER
Double days: 06:00 -14:00 & 14:00-22:00 (must be able to work both shifts)
OR
Night shift : Monday night - Friday night 22:00 - 06:00 (plus 20% shift allowance)
PPE will be provided but ideally the successful candidates will have their own steel toe cap boots
An ideal candidate will have worked in a warehouse operative position previously. If you are unsure whether your previous working experience would be transferable to this role, please apply and we will be able to go through the role in more detail with you.
Role Description:
Completes operational approved logistics processing on schedule (Goods Receipt / Warehouse / Transport / Dispatch).
Accepts incoming goods and compares them with the shipping document (Material number, description, quantity).
Checks incoming goods for visible damage, documents them and provides the information if required.
Takes care for correct use of transport equipment (hand-guided industrial trucks, forklift, etc.).
Captures relevant data in data processing systems.
Arranges the acceptance, storage, commissioning and removal of goods in the storage area and records them in the appropriate systems.
Organises a regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area.
Assembles deliveries out of given storage compartments and reviews for completeness and accuracy (e.g. quantity and article number in reference to the respective delivery notes).
Completes packaging of deliveries having regard to shipping instructions, common methods of dispatch, types of packaging and other instructions (e.g. Dangerous Goods) in the given framework.
Adds the corresponding shipping documents to the outgoing goods.
Completes transports inside and if applicable outside the premises with professional usage of appropriate means of transportation.Apply today for more information and immediate consideration!
