CNC Miller (late shift : Mon - Thurs)
my client is recruiting for a new CNC Miller for their Machine shop in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Working lates 14:00 – 00:30 Monday to Thursday.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
* Operating CNC Milling machines with Heidenhain controls.
* Programming, programme rectification, setting and operating of Machining Centres.
* Reading and correctly interpreting engineering documentation.
* Optimising production techniques to increase efficiency.
* Offline programming with CAD CAM Software.
* CNC programme rectification and programme problem solving
* Optimise production techniques to increase efficiency.
* Must have knowledge and experience of CNC Milling, specifically Heidenhain ( would accept Fanuc Possibley) controllers.

You must have knowledge of CAD/CAM software and associated machining processes as well as use and knowledge of lifting equipment such as forklifts/overhead cranes.
You also need the ability to set and or operate other tool-room machine-shop equipment.
The salary for the position is paying up to £36,000 per annum which also includes a generous holiday package
