Manpower is partnering with a leading equipment manufacturer in their search for a Buyer - this is a temporary role that will last for 3 months although it may be extended.
Based in Hungerford, this is a key role that will support the business as they continue to grow throughout 2021.
Your key focus as a Buyer will be:
Assessing and qualifying new and a existing suppliers
Solving quality-related issues with suppliers
Working with suppliers to maintain strong performance with delivery and cost
Identifying areas for improvement
Agreeing new terms and supply agreementsThis is a challenging role that will suit an individual that has:
A CIPS Level 4 or APICS
Good systems usage - such as SAP
Experience with MRP / ERP systems
A background in the manufacturing sectorDue to the business' strong pipeline, this role has an immediate start. To that end, please don't hesitate to apply today
