Production Assembler
Permanent
Andover
Full Time (7am - 4pm) Monday to Friday
£19,400 per annum (can be flexible depending on experience)
If you have experience with assembly using a variety of techniques and hand tools and would love to move to a role where you can deputise for the team leader and gain experience in planning and other aspects of the business then look no further. We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced production candidate who likes a manual role and can quality check, complete paperwork and make team plans when needed.
Responsibilities include:
manual assembly of parts using a variety of techniques
using hand tools such as drills, hammers, spanners, air tools and more
quality checking your own and others work
Ensure SOP's are adhered to
Keep your workstation clean and tidy
providing team leader support including feeding into production plans, completing H&S paperwork, coaching and encouraging others to hit targetsCandidates must have:
proven experience in an assembly or manual production role
experience using tools
a real understanding and interest in mechanics
the ability to lift goods and parts where required (no heavy goods)
bench fitting experience
