Due to continued growth we have a fantastic opportunity for an Export Sales Executive in the Engineering and Manufacturing sector based near Malton, North Yorkshire.

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday and they offer a competitive salary of £26,000. This employer is offering a mix of working remotely as well as in the office. Other benefits that they offer are ongoing support from the Line Manager, paid travel expenses, days back in lieu and 22 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays.

Reporting to the Head of Sales you will take ownership of the relationships the company has with its distributors and customers in the assigned export territories - maintaining and building key relationships with relevant parties.

Once Covid restrictions allow you will have the opportunity to undertake overseas visits as & when required, to ensure distributor's existing and future requirements are understood and be able to drive new business development in overseas territories & engage in direct selling where appropriate.

You will also develop a thorough understanding of the business's products & capabilities, in order to help customers, specify suitable products and where appropriate, suggest bespoke solutions. Liaise with the technical team regarding those bespoke requirements.

Although not a necessity, foreign language skills would be advantageous (French / German especially) as well as previous experience in account management, customer service or sales.

Key Duties of the role:

Manage relationships with assigned distributors
Research new territories and/or business opportunities, as required
Liaise with the technical department regarding customer's requirements, when required.
Calculate prices and prepare quotations. Liaise with internal sales where necessary.
