Page Personnel is partnering exclusively with a SME Aerospace Engineering business based in Reading who need a Sheet Metal Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Our client is a Tier 1 supplier to the Aerospace and Defence sector and through business development and growth, have created this position with fantastic progression opportunities and benefits.
Description
As the Sheet Metal Engineer, you will be responsible for all encompassing duties of sheet metal work including, but not limited to:
Forming
Dressing
Punching
Routering
Rubber pressing
Trimming
Using and manipulating metal, wood, plastic etc
Using CNC machinery and Amada machinery accuratelyProfile
In order to be considered for the role, you must:
Have previously worked in a similar role and be able to demonstrate this
Come from an aviation background (desirable)
Have experience with fine limit sheet metal (desirable)
Be enthusiastic and willing to learn
Have a recognised apprenticeship
Be a good team player, using initiative and adaptable approach to workingJob Offer
5 weeks holiday
Company pension after 3 months
Compressed working week - 37.5 hours over 4 days
