Maintenance Engineer (NO NIGHTS)

Circa £38,000 to £39,000 + Overtime Opportunities (Realistic OTE £45,000 to £50,000) + Holidays + Pension Scheme + Training and Development Opportunities
Continental Shift. DAYS ONLY!! No night shifts involved.
Maintenance Engineer required for a well renowned and well established manufacturer who operate from a multiple sites across the UK. They offer formal training and qualifications and overtime opportunities paid at a premium rate to boost potential earnings!
The role would suit applicants from ANY industrial/manufacturing background who are multi skilled. Applicants will ideally have a strong background with fault finding on 3 phase electrical equipment. No PLC experience is required. Applicants from an FMCG/Food manufacturing background will have a considerable advantage.
The role will primarily involve a mixture of reactive and pre-planned maintenance on a range of production machinery within a fast paced environment. Electrically, you will work on 3 phase machinery, inverters, drives and sensors. Mechanically, you will work on a range of hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyors. You will work alongside a large maintenance team who will be able to support you within your role.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills both on the job and to gain formal qualifications. They also offer career progression to more senior roles for the successful individual. Overtime is readily available paid at a premium rate to boost potential earnings (REALISTIC OTE UP to £50,000.)
The Role:
*Reactive Maintenance on Production Machinery
*Adhering to a PPM schedule
*A mixture of electrical and mechanical maintenance
*Continental Shift: 4 DAYS on, 4 DAYS off. 12 Hour Shifts. NO NIGHT WORK INVOLVED!
The Person:
*Must be able to fault find on 3 phase machinery as a minimum
*Can transfer from ANY electrical industrial/manufacturing background
*Applicants from a food manufacturing background will have a considerable advantage
*Will ideally be apprentice trained
