Our client, is a public distance learning and Research University, and one of the biggest universities in the UK for undergraduate education.

They are looking to recruit an experienced Interactive Media Developer to join their LDS team, starting asap for 6 weeks, working 37hrs a week and paying £17.57ph, which equates to £33,797pa. This role will work from home and equipment will be supplied.

OpenLearn is the home of free learning from The Open University. The OpenLearn team create, commission and develop content that unites faculty and University priorities with areas of topical and general interest. We have produced almost 1000 short courses, thousands of articles, quizzes and interactive games and hundreds of videos and audios.

The role holder will be required to work independently and also in collaboration with Open University colleagues to:

Review interactive content requiring redevelopment
Assess approach to implementation (H5P, HTML5, Moodle activity etc.)
Draft plan for development priorities with OpenLearn colleagues
Redevelop and rebuild assets as appropriate.You will require:

Previous experience in the effective specification, design, development, production or integration of interactive media solutions.

Proficiency in multiple media interactive production with HTML5 and supplementary coding and packages.

A track record of successful delivery to specification within agreed schedule, resources and standards.
