To be considered for this role you must be a graduate with a passion for Special Needs and will be supportive and caring with a "firm but fair" approach. We want to see graduates with the ambition to become Educational Psychologists or Child Psychologists keen to build relevant experience in a paid role providing support on a 1:1 basis with a child who has behavioural and attention difficulties.

Responsibilities

Support for the students
Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students.
Establish constructive relationships with students and interact with them according to individual needs.
Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence.
Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Support Plans, and/or Communication, Sensory and other programmes.
Encourage students to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.
Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement under the guidance of the teacherThe School
