I'm currently recruiting for a fantastic manufacturing company that are expanding rapidly. They are looking for a process engineering candidate that will look to drive continuous improvements and lean manufacturing into the production facility.

For the right candidate this company will look at graduates from Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry backgrounds that want to get into a process engineering role.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Responsible for Process Improvements using Lean, 5s, Kaizen techniques
- Quality Control and improving manufacturing methods to reduce waste
- Support NPI in order to make sure the best methods of manufacturing are selected
- Training and guiding operatives on bets practice and lean techniques
- Route Cause Analysis and Data analysis to be done in order to provide the best solutions to problems

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- Ideally have a Masters in engineering, chemistry, Chemical or mechanical engineering
- Experience with Extruding / Plastics manufacturing - Very preferential
- Experience of and implementing lean, 5s, kaizen techniques into manufacturing
- Experience of testing / manufacturing new materials

Benefits Package:

* Salary:- £26,000 - £30,000
* Benefits:- Pension, 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
* Days shifts Only
