We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mortgage Administrator to work within a company based in Nottingham to be part of a small established team who can offer you development to become eventually a qualified Advisor
As the Mortgage Administrator you will be enthusiastic and willing to learn new things. This role will allow you to develop your skills and help you to progress within the business, your working hours will be Monday - Friday either 8.30am - 4.30pm or 9am - 5pm depending on your preference
Also as the Mortgage Administrator you will serve both the managerial team and other colleagues by efficiently processing tasks/documents, to help them complete their task quickly and effectively.
The Role & Responsibilities
General office admin, ordering stationery, post, answering phones
Booking client meetings
Chasing lenders & solicitors to get updates on client mortgages
Emailing & calling clients to update them on the status of their application
Sending new home cards & correspondence to clients
Using our Key Database to log all notes & complete tasksSkills required:
Good attention to detail
Ability to stay calm under pressure
Methodical and thorough approach to work
Organised & Reliable
Good at juggling tasks and prioritising
A great team player
A desire to show initiative
Good time management
Knowledge of Word & Excel
Excellent computer skillsAs the Mortgage Administrator you will have a good level of computer literacy and good intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word.
The ideal candidate will have effective time & task management, must be thorough and conscientious and have a good telephone manner.
Have the desire to learn, progress and improve.
