Job Title: Production Technicians x 20

Salary: £10.91 per hour

Days: Monday - Friday (Rotation Early/Late Shifts)

Interaction Recruitment is currently seeking various enthusiastic Production Operators for their esteemed client based in Huntingdon. These roles are for an immediate start.

Early Shift

Monday - Thursday (06.00 - 14.15)

Friday (06.00 - 13.00)

Late Shift

Monday - Thursday (14.00 - 22.00)

Friday (12.45 - 20.45)

Daily Responsibilities:

· Meeting daily production targets on time and using resources efficiently to minimise waste

· Assembling/producing components to the required specification by using appropriate tests and inspections so that all work produced meets the requirement of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

· Complete online documentation and highlight deviations to the appropriate person

· Identify opportunities for and contribute to continuous improvement of the production process

· Ensure that health and safety guidelines are always adhered to

· Clean & maintain work area as required 

Person Specification:

· Ability to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision

· A trusted team player with a flexible, can do attitude

· Diligent and conscientious with a methodical approach and a keen eye for detail

· Good written and verbal communication skills to ensure smooth handover between shifts

· A high level of manual dexterity is essential in order to perform many of the production tasks

· Pro-active in seeking ways to make processes more efficient and effective

· Computer literate - confident using a computer to input information, type handover notes and send emails etc

· Willingness to learn new skills, processes or equipment as and when required

· Willingness to work shifts

· Good numeracy skills

Qualifications and experience:

· Experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable

· Experience of electro-mechanical assembly would be advantageous, however not essential
