Activities Co-ordinator
Location: Bradford, BD3
Rate of pay: £9.00 per Hour
We are looking for dedicated Activities Coordinator to join our Activities team in supporting vulnerable adults in our purpose-built care centre in Bradford, BD3 7NJ West Yorkshire.
One year experience in the health care environment is required and we will fully train you to ensure you have all the skills needed to provide the very highest standard of care and support.
You will need to be able to work flexibly across a 7 - day rota and some weekends. This role gives you the chance to make a genuine difference to people’s lives and no day will be the same. You will have experience in providing excellent care and support to adults who have a variety of needs such as mental health, physical disabilities, dementia, rehabilitation support and behaviours that may be a challenge.
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications Required:
* Proven ability to develop and organise a range of events/activities for Service Users in all categories
* Friendly, creative and confident
* Genuine interest in working with the relevant Service Users group
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work on own initiative
Desired:
* Previous experience of working with the relevant Service User group
* Qualification in remedial/occupational therapies
* Flexible approach towards working routines
Main responsibilities:
* Help Service Users to socialise within the Care Centre and provide a variety of activities that cater for all tastes
* Encourage Staff Members, Relatives and Friends to participate in the Care Centres activities
