Health Care Assistant 

£9.20 - £10.50 per hour - full time/Part time hours 

Calling all Domiciliary carers and Support workers who are looking for a fulfilling role. 

We are currently recruiting for a permanent position with-in Domiciliary Care. 

Our client is looking for motivated, passionate Health care/support workers to join their team in their domiciliary care sector in the Kettering and Corby area.

Typical duties may include:

· To observe and promote the Clients choice, independence, dignity, privacy, fulfilment, and other rights.

· To create and maintain good professional relationships with Clients, their family and friends.

· To actively support other Care Workers

· To provide personal care and support to Clients with a wide range of needs, illnesses, and disabilities

· To undertake the tasks detailed in the Clients care and support plan using a person-centred approach and in the least intrusive way.

· To assist Clients getting up in the morning and going to bed at night, wash, bath and shower, dress and undress, toileting, continence management and personal hygiene.

· To assist Clients with their medication at the agreed level of support and as detailed in their Medication Care Needs Assessment

· To prepare food and drink for the Client, being aware of the Clients choice, likes/dislikes, nutritional needs and cultural requirements.

· To maintain detailed accurate records in respect of care and medication support given and tasks undertaken and to regularly read care and support plans, acknowledging changes. 

If you match the below criteria, we want to hear from you:

· Experience with-in the health sector or a similar setting is essential

· Must have full UK driving licence and own vehicle

· Must be willing to do full care duties including intimate care.

· Must have good English reading, writing and verbal skills

· Must be able to work a minimum of alternate weekends and 2 evenings per week as part of a scheduled full day

· Must be willing and allowed to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (hours of work between Monday to Sunday 6am and 10pm)
