JOB TITLE: IT Administrator

LOCATION: Bridgwater

SALARY: Up to £20,000 PA

HOURS: 8:45am - 5:15pm (Monday - Friday)

THE ROLE: This is a varied position where you will be responsible for supporting the Sales Administration Manager. Your key duties will include:

Answering and logging incoming phone calls using the company portal.
Building a rapport with customers to increase sales, improve service and provide aftersales care.
Speaking to suppliers and assisting with purchasing IT equipment and services and consumables.
Reconciling costs.
Creating invoices and reviewing and monitoring service contracts.
Scheduling resources.
Maintaining stock control and assisting with stock take when needed.
Answering incoming sales calls, online order processing, customer enquiries via phone, ticketing system and email.
Business administration - checking out going orders are correct and parts are ordered at the correct value.
Assist with providing quotations and proforma invoices to customers and following up to obtain feedback and maximise sales.
Checking accuracy of sales order acknowledgements sent through from suppliers and advising suppliers of any corrections to be made.
Advising customers of future delivery dates as and when appropriate to ensure someone is on site to accept delivery and that there are no delivery restrictions to achieve a smooth delivery process for the customer and supplier.SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:

You will need to have some knowledge or interest in IT or be a technically minded individual. You may have worked for an IT / Tech company or you have a real interest for all things technical in your spare time! This company will provide extra training on their products and systems so as long as you have a flair for IT / technology then this could be a really exciting opportunity for you. You will need to be a motivated, self-starter and excellent team player. Plus, good communication skills and customer care abilities are a must.
