Job Details
A housing association based in Croydon are looking for an experienced Clerk of Works to join their team. This is a temp to perm vacancy.
The main purpose of the role is to ensure Fire Safety Remediation Works are carried out entirely in accordance with the specified standards of workmanship, quality and fire safety. That includes an absolute requirement to install all specified components in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and Building Regulations.
To support programme delivery, a Quality Control Manager is needed to provide on-site quality assurance to mitigate fire safety risk and keep residents safe.
Successful applicants must have a thorough understanding of current legislation in regards to building compliance. Overseeing buildings works for allocated sites to ensure quality, safety and timely completion of project deliverables.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;
Previous experience of site management/fire safety compliance, ideally within social housing.
