Shot Blaster

Job Purpose:

To deliver high quality, consistent and competent shot blasting service in accordance with and to the satisfaction of the company/Industry requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

Apply knowledge of shot blasting techniques and processes to prepare materials for painting operation.
Ensure the quality of the shot blasting meets the required specifications.
Use initiative and work without direct supervision however report immediately to line supervisor any equipment, material, project, environmental or health and safety issues that may arise.
To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested commensurate with your skills, knowledge and ability in the interests of the Company.
Working in a warehouse environment
Bead blasting sheet metal
Experience in sheet metal / machine processes advantageous
Carrying out quality checks on finished products
Achieving the tasks and targets set within agreed time
Communicating effectively with the team
Follow strict health and safety rules and regulations

KPI's

Meeting and satisfying Company quality requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations.
Meeting and satisfying Company HSE requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations.

Health and Safety responsibilities

Co-operate with Company in compliance with HSE legislation.
Comply with Company HSE policy and procedures at all times
Lead by example and promote Company HSE policy and procedures.

About you

Skilled/Semi-skilled/part qualified blaster with a solid career in shot blasting.
