Maintenance Engineer – Permanent – Full Time – Eye, Suffolk - £35,000-£40,000 per annum
Hales Group are seeking a Maintenance Engineer who will be directly reporting into the Operations Manager.
Main duties include:
Inspection and acceptance of incoming loads.
Operation of driers to avoid breakdowns
Adjustment of dressing equipment to maintain good quality product.
Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work, responding to equipment faults and failures.
Supervising staff all shifts.
Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
Recording processing parameters.
CCP Monitoring and recording.
Ensure compliance to cleaning and inspection of all areas.
Cover call out as per Rota for machine breakdowns.
Involvement in project teams for improvement.
Adhering to and improving health and safety policies and procedures.
Key requirements:
The candidate will be a time served Engineer, with mechanical and electrical qualifications, they must have worked in an environment similar or FMCG for at least 2 years with experience in heavy machinery including conveyors, bucket elevators, dryers, large kW motors and all ancillaries that aid the running of a large facility
