Parking Appeals Officer
We a seeking a Appeals Officer with previous experience within the area of Hounslow
Assignment length 3 Month + (possible extension)
Pay rate £16.01 PH PAYE
Start date - ASAP
We are looking for a Parking Appeal officer to deal with formal correspondence received in relation to Penalty Charge Notice representations and appeals. Your duties would include dealing with correspondence, appeals, telephone calls, refunds, complaints, court & bailiff. You would be working in a diverse, highly motivated and specialised team.
Key Responsibilities:
* To investigate and decide PCN representations and appeals in a timely manner and in line with legal requirements, client policies and procedures.
* To represent the client at adjudication and other external functions such as bench-marking and working groups.
* To deal with ad hoc correspondence and other duties (including requesting refunds, responding to emails and occasional phone calls) in order to ensure the smooth running of the office.
* To identify and report problems as and when they come up, as well as make the occasional suggestion for developing procedures to improve service delivery, customer focus and efficiency.
Must be an excellent communicator with previous Parking Appeals experience of 6 months or more, you will have an eye for detail along with experience of working with computerised systems (we use Taranto).
You will be required to work 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm for the first four weeks, then between 7am-7pm over the working week (you choose your hours).
