HGV Class 2 Driver

Adecco are currently recruiting Refuse Drivers to work for their public sector client, the role is for 12 months, but for the right candidate could become permanent.

As a Refuse Driver your responsibilities will include;

Carrying out checks on your vehicle before starting your route to ensure safety and road compliance.
Driving the refuse and recycling vehicles for which you must hold a Class 2 license and have a high level of driving skills which are required to manoeuvre vehicles due to on-street parking.
Leading your crew in collecting and processing materials from defined routes
Carrying vehicle checks at end of day, refuelling and fully washing vehicle.

You must have;

Up to date full drivers CPC Card
Digital Tacho Card
Previous work experience of driving up to 32 Tonne vehicles.
Previous experience in recycling and refuse collections is desirable but not essential

Hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm.

Pay is £11.90 per hour.
