Our client based in the heart of Droitwich is looking for a new leader to join their operations team.

Job Purpose:

Working closely with the Operations Director you will ensure that the strategic and business objectives as well as the values of the Group are put in to practice. In conjunction with other senior members of staff you will also ensure business growth through directing and managing business operations activities to ensure they are delivered in accordance with the strategic objectives

Key Accountabilities / Activities / Duties

·Leading a fast growing and dynamic operation, you will ensure the day to day delivery of service to ensure the achievement of agreed operational targets across KPI's, SLA's and operational effectiveness.

·Monitoring and motivating your team through periods of change as you develop successful implementations of new projects whilst maintaining and embedding the DELIGHT values of the company.

·Analysing management information to make informed strategic decisions regarding staffing levels, process improvements, outbound projects, etc.

·Complete Audits for both B2B units and oversee external audits, ensuring that we are following best practice and process

·Building effective relationships with third party partners and customers, clients, face to face and in regular or required meetings.

·Overseeing effective resource planning and work with IT and other supporting functions to develop and implement the best tools and processes to deliver a higher level of service

·Maintain and develop the company's Business Management System ensuring all procedures and processes are relevant and conform to the company standards.

·Ensure that the operational teams conform to the agreed policies and procedures.

·Implement and oversee the operational training program and literature.

·Perform/oversee training and re-training to individual and groups of employees when required.

·Assist with new proposals, tender writing and new business opportunities.

·Ensure that all paperwork is correctly formatted and punctual in line with the Quality Manual.

General duties

·To familiarise yourself with your departmental standards of performance and to be able to demonstrate their application

·To co-operate and communicate with colleagues to ensure effective department teamwork

·To attend any meetings, training sessions or courses that may be beneficial to you and your development

Hours of work

Full time - 40 hours, spread over 5 days a week.

Opening hours - Monday to Friday between 8.30am to 7pm, Saturday 10am to 4pm

Flexibility

Due to the nature of the business, a degree of flexibility is required, and the post holder may be required to perform certain tasks not specifically referred to above.
