Quality Inspector
Permanent
Just outside Andover
£20,100 - £21,400 per annum
Full Time Monday to Friday
We are looking for an experienced quality inspector for manufactured components. Candidates will have experience visually checking produced parts and also using equipment such are verniers, micrometers, gauges and microscopes and a real attention to detail. Responsibilities will include:
Inspection of goods to QA plan.
Measurement using digital and non-digital equipment.
Programming (and checking) for automated QC equipment.
Work within department rules, addressing priorities set.
Completion of concession and reject notes as required.
Inspection and documenting of Sample/ISIR/FAI Reports
Liaison with suppliers on QA issues Record items on concession, reject and sample registers.Candidate will have:
previously used measurement tools
experience working in a production quality environment
a mechanical background or interest
understanding of technical drawings
