This job holder will be a key member of the payroll team and be instrumental in the team. Assist with delivering an accurate and timely payroll to approximately 800 employees across 2 sites.

Description
The Senior Payroll Administrator role involves;
Reporting to the Group payroll Manager
Process 3x monthly and 1x weekly in house payroll (circa 800 employees across 2 sites)
Daily administration of payroll and payrolled benefits.
Assist HR departments across 2 sites
Input starters and leavers
Process permanent and temporary changes to salaries as per contract changes
Work with excel reports from the time and attendance system. Upload and process working hours from time and attendance reports.
Liaise with HMRC, processing third party payments.
Deal with tax codes and statutory payment calculations.
Calculate payable hours, bonuses, tax withholdings, holiday entitlement, and deductions.
Monthly and weekly reports and journals, calculate and reconcile payroll summary reports.
provide admin assistance to the accounting department.
Process BACS payments using online bank portal and upload pension files.
Maintain the electronic employee portal system, ensuring that all our employees have access to payslips, P60 and P11D information.
Completion of other ad-hoc tasks, projects and reporting queries as required.
Profile
The ideal candidate for the Senior Payroll Administrator role will;
have previous in-house Payroll experience.
have strong customer service skills and customer focus
have Excel and Word experience
ideally have worked for a multi-site business previously (not essential)
