Van Driver - S26

Manpower are currently recruiting for Van drivers in Sheffield, Rotherham are S26 area to work on an ongoing contract, delivering parcels safely and efficiently to designated location within set timeframe.

Pay : £9.08 per hour (PAYE)

Working 5 out of 6 days between Monday to Saturday - regular work

Job Duties:

15 to 20 drops a day

Business to business deliveries/ collections
Properly uses and maintains delivery equipment, including handheld scanner
Some warehouse duties
May have to lift heavy products or parcels
Drives safely and follow all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Keeps company vehicle clean and ensure it is well-maintained, has fuel, oil and is ready to drive
Communicates with customers by phone to update them of time of deliveries if there have been issues or changes to their estimated time of arrival
Follows pre-planned route accurately without deviation from set course
Maintains communication with management to be informed of any change of delivery, route or schedule

Skills and Qualifications:
Driver`s License, no more than 6 points
Previous Driving Experience,
Good Customer Service Skills,
Good Communication Skills,

Working hours - between 30 - 45 hours per week.

Start time between 9am/ 10.30am

Please note that you will be responsible for loading and unloading your own Van

Van, sat van will be provided.

Please note that you CAN NOT take a van home
