Questech Automotive Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an Industry leading client for an experienced field based HGV Technician. This is an excellent chance for a Technician to join a company that offers solid opportunities for personal development and internal progression.
Role
You will be an apprentice trained, fully qualified HGV Technician that preferably holds a class 1 or 2 HGV license and has experience working with a variety of LGV and HGV vehicles.
Duties
* Carry out inspection and repair work to company/customer’s vehicles, to VOSA standards.
* Identify and escalate if any additional work is required.
* Ensure the work undertaken is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with instructions and customer SLAs
* Ensure resources are used in a safe manner.
* Adhere strictly to Health, Safety & Environmental guidelines.
* Completion, in a detailed and appropriate manner, of all relevant paperwork.
* Endeavour to reduce vehicle down time to a minimum.
* Carry out breakdown maintenance/repair work.
Hours
You will work a fixed Monday to Thursday night shift working 8.30pm - 7am.
Rates
You will earn a yearly salary of £40,250 per annum and any overtime in this role will be paid at time and a half.
