£30k to £35k plus Shift Allowance
3 Shift Pattern
A global Automotive Manufacturing company in Sunderland are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth running of plant equipment by supporting a multi-disciplined team to assemble, install, test, and maintain all plant machinery and equipment.
Role and Responsibilities
* Proactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and rectification of all plant equipment.
* Responsibility for and reactive to fault finding and troubleshooting within specified timescales.
* Suggesting recommendations to the Production Manager with regards to potential improvements to techniques, methods, processes/procedures, and safety.
* Assembling mechanical components and equipment to meet specifications.
Knowledge and Experience
* Proven previous experience in a Mechanical Maintenance role within a Manufacturing background ideally FMCG or Automotive
* Must be able to work a 3-shift pattern
* Must be time served or have HNC or Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
