Business Development Manager
Job Details
We have an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager for an established company based in Kettering.
You will be responsible to identify new opportunities over the phone before arranging and attending meetings. The role is predominantly office based but will typically require two to four client meetings per week. Cold calling will be undertaken to target a database provided.
The position is likely to be 100% office based during the first two months whilst appointments are being agreed.
Your duties will include:
Attending business development meetings and closing the sale.
Sourcing new leads to build up contacts and to find opportunities with new companies who require a new website or brochure.
You must be willing to put in a huge amount of work in the first year to build up and create meetings from your own databaseYou will have the below skills/experience:
Experience of cold calling- as you will be making a minimum of 50 cold calls a day
Have the ability to interact confidently to Director level
Have the determination and tenacity to overcome setbacks to succeed
Exceptional communication skills on all levels both face to face and over the telephone
Trustworthy and loyal
Enthusiastic and keen and very determined
