Nurse Functional Assessor
Meridian Business Support is currently recruiting registered Nurses for an exciting and challenging opportunity to become an accredited Functional Assessor. Within this role, you will be responsible for using your clinical knowledge and expertise to carry out medical assessments and examinations on people's claims for disability benefit payments.
You will meet with individuals face-to-face through a 1-1 consultation, to assess how health conditions and disabilities can impact on people's daily living activities. Rather than providing treatment or advice to claimants, you will instead compile factual evidence together from each appointment, to write clear and concise medical reports based on your findings.
This is a full-time permanent position. The standard working hours are Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm. No weekends, nights or bank holidays are required.
Role Summary
Starting Salary: £38,760 per annum
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm (37.5hrs)
Office-based assessments (No community/home visits required)

Must be NMC Registered
2 years post graduate experience
Must be IT competent - typing, MS packages
