Payroll and T&A Officer

The main focus of the role is to run the day to day monthly payroll and to ensure the company are complaint in all areas of Payroll & Pensions against HMRC Pensions Regulator legislation.

Description

Payroll and T&A Officer responsibilities:

Support the Head of Payroll and Time & Attendance in providing operational and strategic accountability for payroll, pensions, and performance strategies to enable company to remain an industry leading employer
Provide support for the new Cloud HR & Talent & Attendant project implementation to be rolled out in the next 12 months
Processing monthly payrolls
input and checking of all aspects of the UK Payroll processing
Importing files to the payroll system
Starters, leavers, and completion of all appropriate forms
Working knowledge and calculation of statutory and company roles in relation to SSP, SMP, SAP, SPP, SHPP redundancy payments and all other aspects of payroll processing
Dealing with employee relation queries
Day to day liaison with employees, HR and HMRC
Process Court orders etc under the correct terms
Ensure Bacs reports and reconciliation is completed on time Profile

Successful Payroll and T&A Officer candidate:

Prior Payroll processing expertise is a must
Being part of teams of people within a complex environment
Customer service experience
Excellent IT skills / Excel / PowerPoint / Word
Experience in relation to Talent & Attendant system preferred
Experience with payroll systems
Available to start Immediately
