Interaction IT are proud to partner with a leading software business in the Chesterfield area.
As part of their continued success, my client has immediate requirements for a Mid level PHP Developer to join their growing and talented team.
The role
You will be joining remotely with flexible working arrangements in place, you will be joining a multi-skilled team within their modern office to create and develop bespoke software solutions.
You will be working on new projects and some maintenance of existing backend systems, although some frontend development will be required as part of this role.
You will also bring new ideas to the business and demonstrate strong problem solving skills as a hands on developer predominantly skilled in PHP and MySQL.
Key responsibilities
- You will hold at least 3+ years commercial experience coding PHP together with some experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.JS
- You must be able to develop and implement new features in line with specification, also maintain existing PHP applications and scoping requirements
- You will have strong MySQL knowledge with an ability to design suitable database schemas, whilst working in an Agile environment
- You will possess strong analytical and problem solving skills with a good level of HTML / CSS knowledge
- You will also drive the business in terms of technical innovation by staying up-to-date with the latest technology and contribute towards bringing new ideas into the business
