Assistant Accountant

A fantastic 12 month fixed term contract for an Assistant Accountant looking for an exciting challenge. This role is based in Blackpool and is offering between £22,000 to £26,000 (dependent upon experience).

Description

Duties will include:

Balance sheet reconciliations
Accruals and prepayments
Profit/loss journals
Assisting qualified accountants in all aspects in finance
Month end reports, forecasting and invoice close
Supporting with ledgers
Being responsible and overseeing debt collection processes
Ad hoc duties

Profile

The successful candidate will:

Have experience in an assistant accountant role previously - essential
Be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders - essential
Be able to work independently and as part of a team - essential
Be able to work in an efficient manner - desirable
Have knowledge of specialist accounting software - desirable Job Offer
