Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Advisor

Salary - £30k to £35k
A global Automotive Manufacturing company are looking to recruit a Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Advisor (SHEQ Advisor) to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Plant Manager to ensure that all health and safety, environmental and quality regulations are fully compliant, and running smoothly across the company.
Role and Responsibilities
* To promote the practical application of Health & Safety throughout the company.
* Working with the different teams in the company to agree solutions and reduce risks
* Conducting and supporting any incident investigations to determine root causes and ensure actions are completed
* Carrying out regular internal audits on fixed and temporary sites, suggest improvements and follow up on non-compliances
* Driving a positive SHEQ culture across the business
* Producing weekly safety reports will be required.
* Communicate with senior management with regards to everything HSE.
* Manage client and sub-contractor expectations and be the point of call for safety related matters.
* Leading in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks
Knowledge and Experience
* Proven experience working at Advisor level in either an Automotive or Manufacturing business
* Must hold NEBOSH Qualification
* Good working knowledge of ISO 45001 with experience conducting audits
* The ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally
* Must be able to coach and support employees across the business
* Able to produce SHEQ Reports
