Randstad are looking for an experienced Planner to start with immediate affect

New Freelance Vacancy: Planner/Programmer
Location: Canterbury, Kent
Rate: Negotiable depending on experience (£300-£315per day)

We are working closely with a Tier 1 Contractor who are urgently looking for a Planner to join the
team.
The job holder will be responsible for the co-ordination and production of tender and contract planning
duties using Asta Power Projects, and for ensuring that all requirements of the Company quality
standards have been addressed when producing programmes.

The Company work on new build and refurbishment construction projects in the Health, Education,
Office and Retail sectors across Sussex, Surrey, London & Kent with values up to £20 million.

Prequalification's

Preparation of programme and method information for use during presentation interviews or for inclusion in submission document.
Tender Planning
Responsible for scheduling and identifying temporary support problems.
Providing solutions in conjunction with the Temporary Works Engineers, specifying major items of plant (Tower cranes, Hoists etc.).
Assist Estimators in preparation of preliminaries documentation.
Contract Planning
Production of Contract Programme in conjunction with site team, assist with placing orders for major items of plant, production of Information Required Schedule and/or procurement programme.
Responsible for any major updates of the programme required during the contract period in conjunction with the site team.
Individual

Must have qualifications in a construction subject.
Must have substantive planning experience within a major contracting company
Must have experience and knowledge of working from an NEC form of Contract
Must have Primevera and Asta Power
Must have high level of presentation skill
