Job Details
You will be joining a multi national steel and alloy producer, you will be responsible for providing an efficient refractory maintenance service to the steel making operation, and ensuring safety standards are adhered to.
A background in bricklaying is essential however, training will be provided on the refractory/furnace aspect.
You must be apprentice trained to City and Guilds level in bricklaying or similar.
Demonstrate a sound knowledge of bricklaying skills
Be willing to work flexibly in a team to meet the operational demands of the business.
Experience of working in the steel industry will be desirable, but not essential.Shifts;
The Refractory Team work a rolling shift pattern so on occasions you may be asked to attend work for plant emergencies.
