SEN Case Officer

Adecco are recruiting for a SEN Officer for a West London local authority.

SEN Case Officer
Working from home until restrictions ease - IT equipment will need to be collected from Hounslow
Full time - 35 hours per week
Temporary role - 6 months (possible extension)
£14.13 per hour PAYE- To provide accurate and timely work in the co-ordination of the LA's responsibilities to children with an Education, Health and Care Plan in line with the Children & Families Act 2014 and SEN Code of Practice and any other relevant legislation

- To make effective use of the computer software available to facilitate SEN procedures and communication including the preparation and dispatch of correspondence, database entries, contact logs, other information and to ensure that information is regularly monitored and updated.

-Collate information for consideration at the SEN Panel and carry out the panel decisions.

-Support in the process of updating and amending EHCPs.

- Provide accurate and clear advice and information to parents and carers keeping them informed and updated.

- Work as part of the overall SEN team, carrying a caseload and providing such cover as may be necessary for colleagues in their absence, at the request of senior officers within the SEN section
