Racking and Pressing Operative

No experience is needed to work as a Racking Operative for our client's fast-paced bacon production site.

Staffline is recruiting for Racking and Packing Operatives to work in Redruth.

The rate of pay is £10.10 per hour for the morning shift and £10.51 per hour for the afternoon shift.

You will work fixed shifts from Monday to Friday. The hours of work are:

- 6am to 3pm
- 3pm to 12am

Your Time at Work

As a Racking Operative at this site you will set up, change-over and operate machinery.

You'll be required to locate, transport and load raw frozen meat onto a grading conveyor belt, as well as off-loading raw material from the conveyor into the portable racks.

There will be a lot of repetitive manual handling involved in this role.

Our Perfect Worker

Our ideal Racking Operative is happy to work in a physically demanding role, where on occasion you'll be required to lift items that weigh between 5 to 10kg.

You should work well alone or as part of a busy team, ensuring that you adhere to all Health & Safety processes and procedures.

Experience as a Production Operative, Warehouse or a Factory Operative is desirable but not necessary as full training will be provided.
