Company

Our client is a world leader in home textiles, supplying major retailers in the UK and across the globe and specialize in storage and distribution are currently seeking a Warehouse Administrator to join their team.

Personal Qualities & Duties

Attention to detail is crucial for dealing with quantities and descriptions
Able to self-manage time to manage several different admin activities (time management)
Will take ownership
Good interpersonal skills, assertive and able to challenge things
Will interact with factory and office staff who will be acting as customers for this role
Proactive and will take action before issues become problems
Computer literate, must be experienced in using Microsoft Word and Excel (including Pivot)
Printing off labels
Understands the need for sign off before orders are placed on suppliers, will be responsible for policing this process
General Admin
Filing paperwork/Scanning
Data inputting
Order Picking using RF Guns/Hand scanners
Managing pick orders
Locating items from the shelves based on a number, size, colour, quantity, and quality requirements
Ensures that orders are accurate
Packing finished products
General warehouse duties
Person specification

MUST have previous admin experience
Computer literate- Ability to use Excel and Office
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work under pressure
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Good team player and can work on own initiative
Hours of work

Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm

Please note this is to start as a temporary position but could lead to permanent for the right candidate
