Learning Support Assistant
Primary/Secondary - SEND
Based in Bromley
Full-Time
Daily pay £65-£80 depending on experience
Empowering Learning are currently looking for a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to work within a school based in Bromley. We are looking for an outstanding and experienced Learning Support Assistants, who are dedicated to supporting children with various special needs on a 1:1 basis. Our school support children with various learning abilities, such as challenging behaviour, SLD and MLD so experience of working with a range of special needs would be desirable. We would be looking for a dynamic Learning Support Assistant who can work across various age groups within primary school age.
Job Responsibilities
Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis
Supervising children in & out of the classroom
Encourage and support the pupils learning
Helping the teacher prepare for lessons and plan activities

Job Requirements
Experience of working as a Learning Support Assistant/Classroom Assistant
Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities
Strong communication skills
Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
Available 3-5 days a week and able to commit
Able to commit to 3-6 months and potentially longer
