JOB TITLE: Student Information Officer
LOCATION: Exeter
SALARY: £21,500 PA
BENEFITS: 25 days plus Bank Holidays, Private Medical Scheme, Contributory Pension ,Life Assurance ,Season Ticket Loans ,Cycle to Work Scheme ,Eye Care Assistance, Employee Assistance Programme
HOURS: 35 hours per week, 9-5pm
THE COMPANY: A fantastic opportunity to join one of the worlds largest law schools as a Student Information Officer. You will become integral to the team and receive excellent training and lots of opportunity to progress , develop and further your career.
THE ROLE: In this busy and varied role you will be working within a small team to provide the administrative processes to underpin the student lifecycle from initial registration to completion. You will provide support to students and first class administrative support to team members that includes assisting with the smooth operation across all courses and of the Student Information and Assessment departments.
KEY DUTIES:
Assist with developing and maintaining effective and constructive relationships with students, external visitors, colleagues, suppliers and other stakeholders and ensure they are dealt with in a professional manner
Monitor e-mail correspondence and telephone and respond in a professional and timely manner to requests from staff, students, visitors and suppliers
Assist with the induction and enrolment process for all students. This will include receiving and recording of eligibility documents
Assist with timely preparation, collection and distribution of student records and information to meet deadlines.
Assist the team in ensuring that the student attendance, absences and class swaps are recorded accurately, and the information held is up to date
Assist the team to provide support with the administration of all pre and post assessments processes for all formal assessments and examinations, including managing of invigilators, answering assessment related queries, collection of assessments and booking of exam rooms
Assist with the promotion and running of student sports and leisure activities and accurate administration of the student activity budget
Assist with general facilities on site, including room setup, receiving deliveries, arranging secure storage, invoicing and liaising with the facilities team
Ensure sufficient stocks of stationery. Order and replenish stocks as necessary
Assist in the managing the company Facebook page
Administer the process of campus visits and recruitment activities
