Client Details
My client is a highly successful SME business who have an urgent requirement to recruit a professional candidate into their team. They have fully embraced flexible home working which they offer, with only travelling into the offices for meetings.
Description
· Producing the weekly sales summaries and KPIs in a timely manner.
· Daily conversion of pro-forma invoices to VAT invoices after payment received. Daily cash deposits report produced.
· Sales invoices entry, and month-end sales reconciliation.
· Recognising e-commerce sales and activity.
· Creating the weekly supplier payment run. Liaising with the relevant departments to ensure critical payments are included and sending out supplier remittances, as required.
· Producing monthly ExCo management data, which consists of a variety of financial and qualitative measures.
· Bank reconciliations - posting receipts and payments into and out of all bank accounts and reconciling to the statement on a regular basis. Banking of cheques, as required. US inter-company reconciliation.
· Quarterly aged debtors report and Sales Ledger reconciliations.
· Working with the Sales Support department to ensure all proof of export documents are obtained, comply with HMRC legislation and are filed with corresponding sales invoices, for our export sales.
· Ad-hoc Commercial reporting, as required.
Profile
· Accounting / Finance graduate studying towards a professional qualification (preferred)
· Strong communication skills
· Self-motivated with good time and work load management
· Ability to work with and analysis large volumes of data
· Financial and commercial acumen
· Strong attention to detail
· Strong IT and Excel skills including Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, SumIfs)
