An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading service sector company based in Luxury offices in Knutsford due to continued growth and expansion. This company have an impressive client base and are looking forward to further growth in 2021 making it an excellent time to join them.
Description
The Management Accountant role is initially a temporary assignment for 3 months which could be extended.
Reporting to the Head Of Finance this role will be a mix of working in the Knutsford office and remote working. Key responsibilities will include:
Preparation of the month end pack, including P&L analysis, reports and commentary
Produce and take ownership of Balance Sheet reconciliations and investigation of balances when required
Responsible for posting accounting journals, including Accruals, Prepayments
Variance analysis budget vs actual
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
Manage Petty Cash
Participate in the year-end audit process & prepare ad hoc financial reports
Work on various finance projects as and when required
Profile
In order to apply for the role you should:
Have Experience as a Management Accountant or a supporting role to a Finance Manager
Have working technical knowledge of reporting standards and management accounting techniques, with a focus on trading balance sheet accounts (Accruals, Prepayments, Accrued Income, Deferred Income) and Profit & Loss reporting/analysis.
Have Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Live within commuting distance of Knutsford (some remote working)Job Offer
