Job Details

Evtec Automotive are a parts manufacturer and a supplier of aftermarket products to the biggest OEMs and automotive companies in the UK and are looking for an experienced finance accounts coordinator to join the team. 

Summary of Position

The Accounts Coordinator will work predominantly as a member of the accounts payable processing team but will be required to cover accounts receivables when necessary. The role requires communication with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure that multi-currency invoices are processed in a timely manner and queries are kept to a minimum.

Core Responsibilities    

  • Batching and processing of daily purchase invoices for direct materials, indirect goods and services
  • Accuracy of input of multi-currency documents, payments and receipts
  • Payments to pro forma suppliers through the online banking system and correct recording on the ledger in accordance with company policy
  • Reconciliation of all key supplier accounts as well as non-key as required
  • Ensuring accurate supplier details and accounting references are maintained
  • Liaisons with Purchasing, Supply Chain and sites coupled with GRNI reporting to ensure correct matching and approval of purchase invoices
  • Ensure VAT is recorded correctly in line with HMRC policy and internal procedures in dealing with foreign VAT
  • Working with other departments to ensure invoices under query are resolved in a timely manner
  • Provide payables information through reporting as required
  • General administrative duties to support the department as and when necessary

  • Supplier invoices processed and paid within agreed terms
  • Invoice query responses by sites actioned daily
  • Other specific targets to be agreed in Appraisals
