Looking to make a difference? No day is the same as a First Response Call Handler!
Based in Exeter & Ashburton the Response Centre is hiring for various shifts, both full and part time hours. Full training will be provided. After 4 weeks this job has the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.
You must be able to attend training in both Ashburton and Exeter - own transport is recommended.
Hours available
40hrs/ 32hrs / 20hrs (evening and weekend work available)
Pay Rate
£9.50 + shift allowance
FTE: £19,785 +OT / shift allowance
Basic Job Description
Assess, control and arrange a swift and appropriate response to emergency situations by calling the fire, police or ambulance service
Handle general customer service calls about the product
Assess calls from customers who are testing their devices and advising on maintenance
Accurately record details of all calls received and madePerson Specification
* Can handle problems and difficult situations calmly and effectively
* Confident using Microsoft Office
* Ability to evaluate information quickly
* Good telephone manner
* Flexible and adaptive to change
* Confident with people.
* Patience and understanding with callers.
