Customer Service Representative, Manufacturer based in Coventry, starting salary £19,885 per annum rising after successful probation, 32 days annual leave which includes bank holidays

  • Salary £19,885 rising to £20,943 after successful probation period.
  • 32 days annual leave (inclusive of statutory bank holidays).
  • Permanent position working 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 09.00am to 5.00pm and Friday 09.00am to 4.30pm.

We have a vacancy to extend our Customer Service team of staff and are now looking for a Customer Service Representative to help support the team to meet the ever-changing demands of our loyal customer base.

Customer Service Representative main duties:

  • Answering inbound calls from existing customers
  • Solving customer queries often including product specification
  • Constant communication with internal & external stakeholders
  • Processing and checking orders across all sectors of the business.
  • Processing of credit notes, manual invoices.
  • Upkeep of the Customer Services Database.
  • Dealing with general office duties including filing & administration.

Customer Service Representative necessary skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Previous experience in a customer support or customer service position is essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills, friendly and approachable telephone manner.
  • A team player with strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, resilience when needed and an empathetic nature.
  • Great organisational skills with an excellent attention to detail.
  • Some experience of providing technical information would be desirable.
  • GCSE’s including Maths & English (or equivalent) is essential.
