IT Support Specialist
A European Company based in Abingdon is looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join the established IT team who work as a team to provide support to 250+ staff within the UK and Europe. The IT support specialist position is to assist with the day to day support of users, systems and infrastructure and help in growing their IT services portfolio both locally and at corporate level. This to ensure IT meets all business requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1st & 2nd line user support and administration
Assist in roll out of new hardware/software from procurement through to delivery.
Manage user onboarding/offboarding requirements.
ITSM Incident ticket management
General Network/Infrastructure Support
Assist were necessary with any IT led corporate initiatives
Technology:
Essential
Windows 10
Active Directory/Group Policy
Office 365
Networking - TCP/IP
ServiceNow ITSM/ITBM
Experience of user/infrastructure.
Driving License - requirement to work sometimes from alternative UK sitesDesirable
Experience with working with SCCM
Knowledge of GDPR and Sarbanes Oxley auditing
Windows 2012/2016 ServersOptional
Palo Alto Firewalls
Understanding of ERP, manufacturing through to product delivery.
SQL Server 2014/2016
Networking (Switch configuration, Routing, VLANS)You need the ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and multi-task efficiently with a professional demeanour, enjoy working as a team, learn and share knowledge and work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
