Forming Technician Apprentice

An excellent opportunity for an individual with enthusiasm and interest in production manufacturing to join a FMCG leader who supply their products globally based at a modern facility in Derrylin, Northern Ireland. In this role you can gain on the job training and experience through the apprenticeship programme and monitored professional development which leads to a Gold Engineering Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities;

Ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with Encirc health & safety and hygiene policies, operational procedures and regulations.
Supporting the team with monitoring and optimising IS machine performance, including assisting on Job Change activity ensuring accuracy of setting ups. Including:
Temperature monitoring
Heyer & X-Par rejects
Variable Equipment Change
Helping the team to establish and maintain standards (including SOP'S) identify, document, record and escalate accordingly deviations, engineering performance issues and quality concerns.
Assisting with the completion of all relevant records / paperwork (Shift Handovers, Critical Defect sheets, IAFiS recording, SIC boards etc.)
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and orderliness within the Hot End and throughout the factory, in line with housekeeping standards.
Understanding effective resolution of issues and use of escalation procedure when needed.
