Production Operative

Staffline is recruiting for Production Operatives to work at our client's salad production site in Dover.

The rates of pay are:
Days - £9.07 per hour
Evenings - £9.19 per hour
Nights - £9.31 per hour

Overtime is available at this site and is paid at 1.25 x your normal hourly rate.

There are flexible shifts available to you in this full time role, with start times such as 6am, 4pm or 9pm.

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative at this site your duties may include:

-Using the OCM scale in accordance with working practices
-Loading / unloading packing / labelling machines with correct film and labels as per the QA documents folder
-Ensuring the correct information is entered into the OCM at the start of each product run
-Ensuring that labels get checked off by Team Leader and QA
-Controlling the use and changing of the robot as and when necessary to the product running
-Packing / Presenting - Ensuring that when placing product into pods, trays, or pre formed film, it is done in accordance with the customers' standard specifications and you follow the picture specifications

You will understand and have a full knowledge of Product quality as well as control and manage the product released from the technical department.

Breaks will be unpaid however colleagues will receive paid preparation time that covers all daily preparation requirements

Our ideal Production Operative will have a good eye for detail in order to ensure the quality of produce.

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, however, this is not essential as full training will be provided.
