Electrical Maintenance Engineer-Shifts

£28-35K Basic plus 20% Shift Allowance (OTE £(phone number removed) plus pension, life assurance, chilcare vouchers, parking, 25 days holiday.

Nottinghamshire, commutable from Nottingham, Grantham, Newark, Mansfield, Lincoln

3 Shift Pattern 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am)-Mainly Mon-Fri but working 1 weekend in 3

Are you a Electrical Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing background looking for an excellent package, and a chance to join a global market leading company?

On offer is a shift based role, mainly working Mon-Fri with on-going technical and career progression and training.
This company is the leader in the supply of precision and mechatronic products, primarily for the automotive industry.
The role's purpose is to to provide electrical engineering support to Manufacturing to ensure safety and continuity of production.

THE ROLE

Ensure prompt response to breakdowns and effective fault diagnosis to minimise downtime for all maintenance and site electrical issues.
Modify manufacturing machinery to ensure improvements in reliability and efficiency of machines.
Install electrical components within in house machinery to enable machines to function.
Create electrical drawings of new/modified machines to provide documentation of electrical circuits to aid fault finding
THE PERSON

HNC Electrical qualification (or equivalent such as Completed Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering )
Experience of working in a within a machine tool environment
Knowledge of PLCs and AC/DC drives
